Vilma Misiukoniene

EU Digital Identity LT Lead @POTENTIAL ICT Department of the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania

Vilma Misiukoniene is EU Digital Policy expert with inter–disciplinary technical & legal backgrounds, wide connection with international digital industry. She served six national, EU and international digital industry associations in different roles, designed and led nationally number of digital policy awareness campaigns.

Vilma has drafted digital Agenda Strategies, tech-Law position papers. Was contributing to national Cyber Security developments. She is a board member of LT Cybersecurity professionals association. Vilma is assisting to EC as an expert, too. Vilma has contributed to EU Cyber Security policy as a member of Industry Advisory group at ENISA, EU Agency for Cybersecurity. She also was part of EU IPR Help-desk and co–authorship the handbook on IP.

She was assigned the role as Digital Affairs Advisor for Lithuanian Presidency in EU (2013). Vilma continues advising Government, SMEs and was recently appointed by LT Authority to lead (nationally and some EU level role) large scale pilot on EU Digital Identity Wallet.
Vilma is also recognized as co-author of EU flagship initiative HDM (Harmonizin of EU & EaP Partnership). She was consulting Ukrainian Government on Digital Strategy and other issues of EU integration (eIDAS, DESI index).
