Aleksandrs Belovs

Aleksandrs obtained his Master of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Latvia under the supervision of Andris Ambainis.

In 2016, he joined the Faculty of Computing at the University of Latvia. Aleksandrs’ research interests gravitate towards theoretical computer science with emphasis on models of computation, query complexity, lower bounds, and related mathematical techniques. His most active area of research is in quantum algorithms.
