It’s the 6th edition of 5G Techritory, and we’re seeing that the forum has shifted its focus from panel discussions and keynote speeches to co-creation instead. Thus, in 2023’s agenda, panel discussions share the spotlight with 10+ co-creation events – including the Embracing the Quantum Era event. Keep reading to learn more about it!
What to expect from this co-creation event?
Embracing the Quantum Era will gather quantum field experts from all over the world to engage in groundbreaking talks and discussions around various aspects of quantum technology. Participants will receive insight into the mesmerizing work of quantum industry experts, success stories, quantum tech impact, and more.
The co-creation event’s program includes:
- Discussing national Quantum Computing Initiative (QCI) projects
- Open conversations about Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) deployments and their real-world applications
- Future-oriented discussions on various topics, including emerging technologies such as MDI-QKD

The event is organized by the Latvia State Radio and Television Center, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, the Electronic Communications Office of Latvia, and the leading scientific institutions in Latvia in the field of quantum – Riga Technical University, the University of Latvia, and the Institute of Solid State Physics (University of Latvia), which all will also be represented at the event.
A finishing touch – new MoU incoming
The Embracing the Quantum Era event has a fascinating element added. The organizers of the co-creation event have announced that it will conclude with the signing of a memorandum dedicated to the advancement of quantum technology in Latvia. According to the organizers of the co-creation event, this memorandum will serve as a symbol of the involved parties’ commitment to collaborate and drive progress together.
The upcoming memorandum dedicated to advancing quantum technology in Latvia could mark a new era of quantum technology development and innovations in the country.
