Elena Deambrogio has a study and work background in EU Affairs in Brussels. For the last 15 years, she has worked at the City of Torino’s EU Funds & Innovation Department in sustainable urban development. In this position, she deals with delivering cross-sectoral innovation in line with EC trends and policies, accessing and managing EU funds, including structural funds.
The main up-to-date action fields are related to shaping the territory as an “open living lab”, defining strategies and policies for public procurement of innovation, supporting the deployment of innovative technologies for better urban quality, and fostering innovative urban development strategies inspired by circular economy principles.
