Māris Aleksandrovs

Technical Director Electronic Communications Office of Latvia

Maris Aleksandrovs is the Technical Director of the Electronic Communications Office of Latvia (ECO Latvia), the organization ensuring the state spectrum management. His responsibilities include spectrum planning, monitoring, equipment conformity assessment, and numbering information system development.

Maris has more than 20 years of experience in the electronic communications sector. In addition to the duties of the Technical Director at ECO Latvia, he and his colleagues from the Technical Department actively participate in the European Commission’s TAIEX projects on spectrum monitoring issues, as well as the development of spectrum monitoring software SKUDRA.

The SKUDRA software has received recognition from Spectrum Monitoring Professionals and the International Innovation Quality Award in 2019.

Maris has a Master’s degree in Engineering sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Legal sciences.
