Paolo Campoli is the Vice President of the Global Service Provider (SP) Sales Segment at Cisco, where he and his team are responsible for delivering and executing the global go-to-market strategy and driving innovation for some of Cisco’s largest customers. Before this, Paolo served as Head of the SP Segment for Cisco EMEAR, responsible for transformative selling, segmentation and coverage, and SP strategy coherence with a corporate investment portfolio.
Campoli has over 30 years of experience in the IT and communications industry. Since joining Cisco in 1998, he has held several leadership positions, including Senior Manager, Central Marketing, Director of SP Business Development, Head of the SP Architectural Play and Regional CTO for the EMEAR SP region, as well as Head of Sales, Technical Operations and Channels for Global SPs in South Europe and the Middle East & Africa.
Paolo is actively engaged in driving the adoption of 5G, Automation, and Software-Defined Networking in the telco and ICT industries. Before Cisco, Paolo held leadership positions at Siemens/Italtel, Pirelli, and Cefriel Research.
Paolo has a doctoral degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Milan and a post-graduate master’s degree from the Cefriel institute.
