Simon is the Managing Director of Innovation Observatory, industry research and consulting company founded in 2005. He has been analyzing technology markets for nearly thirty years. In that time, he has reported and consulted on most aspects of the telecoms industry: from chipsets to devices and networks, software and services, from fixed, to mobile, IoT, and satellite networks, from 2G to 5G, and from residential services to industrial applications.
His company has been supporting GSA with research and content production since 2015, and in recent years has taken the lead on maintaining GSA’s GAMBoD database of LTE and 5G chipsets, devices, and vendors.
