With more than 30 years of telecom experience, Alojz Hudobivnik is currently an independent telecommunication consultant, researcher, and quality expert (ISO9001, ISO27000, and ISO13485) (AH.TS s.p.). He received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in computer science from University in Ljubljana, in 1983 and 1989, respectively.
Alojz started his professional work in Iskra DELTA and from 1990-2013 he worked in Iskratel, Kranj, Slovenia in the area of telecommunication. He has held a number of positions and has been involved in product development of No.7 signaling, implementation of broadband access in Slovenia, product management, and corporate knowledge management.
Alojz has also been active in telecoms standardization in ETSI, FTTH Council Europe, and has been a part of ITU-T for almost 25 years, dealing with such topics as the standardization of telecommunication architectures, including NGN and the upcoming Future Networks.
Currently, he is Vice-Chairman of ITU-T SG13 WP1, chairperson of the Slovenian NSO SIST Technical Board for the areas of electrical technology, IT, and telecommunications, a member of CENELC BT, and member of the EU MSP team.
